Growing so fast!

I just cannot believe that it has been almost 6 months since Hunter was born. It is amazing to see how quickly he changes. Josh went out of town for a week and when he came back, EVERYTHING was different! In a matter of 4 days, we stopped swaddling, Hunter stopped nursing to sleep, he learned to self soothe, he started rolling both ways with ease and he is starting to "talk" (no real words...but he is definitely talking). He is getting so big!

His "nose infection" seems to be improving, but is not completely gone.

My mom came down this weekend and we had a great time. I sewed my very first project this weekend (all by myself!) It is a table runner for my dining room! I also made a wreath to put out during Texas A&M football games! The pictures don't really do it justice, but I I have included a pictures anyway (I also put one of the table runner and Hunter) Enjoy!

We have been battling a cold for a week now and the pedi told me if the meds didn't help by Friday to call....so, we went in and he has a nose infection (similar to a sinus infection...but since babies don't have sinuses...it is just a nose infection) so we we are on antibiotics until next week and if it isn't gone by Tuesday, we have to go back........

Happy Baby!

Well, I am not keeping up with my blog as I had hoped I would, but thus is the life of a mom I suppose!

Hunter is SOO much fun! He is going through a really fun stage right now where he smiles and laughs at every person that looks at him. He loves to meet new people and really has fun when we get to go places (target, the mall, etc.)

We have been going through our stage 1 solids and so far have tried:
Rice Cereal: Didn't Like
Carrots: Liked
Peas: Hated (We didn't go the recommended 3-5 days on these because he just wouldn't eat them)
Sweet Potatoes: LOVES (We just started these yesterday, and they are a big hit!)

I am so excited to see Hunter's ABC book that I made him on Shutterfly. It was so fun to make and really inexpensive!
